Order the closest size and then we will send email within 24 hours to confirm window information, we also can send you artwork depends on your window size if you need, please give us confirmation in 48 hours. If we do not get any reply, we will make the size without any adjustment, the shade width is for the overall width from bracket to bracket, fabric will be about 1.2" less than the overall shade width.

Our shade are good for both inside mount and outside mount just depneds on the size you ordered.
- INSIDE MOUNT:Min depth for inside mount is 2.5", shade width is at least 1/4" less than widnow width, and shade length should be the same as window height. Take example, if window inside is 38.5" wide by 16" height, shade width should be 38.25"(38.5"-1/4"), shade length shoude be 16", please choose closest size 38" W x 17"L to place order then reply us email telling us two information:1) window size 38.5" wide by 16" height. 2)Inside mounting. We will change the size to 38.25"W x 16"L.
- OUTSIDE MOUNT: Shade width need to be 3-6" wider than window width, shade length need to be 8-10" longer than window length for better coverage. Take example, if window outside is 38.5" wide by 16" height, shade width should be at least 41.5"(38.5"+3"),shade length should be at least 24"(16"+8"). Choose closest size 42" W x 21"L to place order reply us email telling us two information:1) window size 38.5" wide by 16" long. 2)Outside mounting. We will change the size to 41"W x 24"L.
