- About Us: The Flavor Seed was planted 20 years ago when my Dad, inspired by old family recipes, wanted to start a spice company. Together we planned the business but went on to pursue other dreams. After my Dad passed in 2010, while rummaging through his belongings, I found his prized box of treasures and a folder with all the Flavor Seed ideas he hoped to bring to life.
