- THIS IS AN INSIDE MOUNT LISTING. Inside mount means installing inside the window frame. The window frame needs to be at least 1 1/2 inches deep to install as inside mount. Please measure horizontally at the top, middle and bottom, and then order the narrowest measurement and your shade will arrive with a 1/4-inch deduction in the width.
