WHAT IS A CATCH CAN?
A catch can is technically an oil/air separator. Catch cans / oil separators are used to separate oil droplets from the air circulating from the engine breather and then through the intake system. that can greatly benefit direct-injected engines. They prevent oil and other contaminants from causing buildup inside your engine's intake manifold.
Solve the Problem - Oil Catch Can
1. By installing an oil catch can on your turbo car, it will collect oil and moisture blow by gases from PCV valve or engine Valve Cover ports going to intake system. Keep your engine to perform at its best for the longest period of time;
2. With oil catch can you can keep your engine clean under hard driving conditions allowing "cleaner" gases to be passed back into the intake;
3. The oil catch can will remove carbon and sludge build-up in the intake system, prolong engine longevity, increase engine performance.
Application:
Filtered Breather that traps oil while allowing air to escape freely, and the baffle system in the oil tank also could filter the air, reduce oil and gas into the intake manifold. Don't use the filter on a PCV system, you'll just break the vacuum and cause engine problems. The filter is for pre-PCV cars.
