Easily cut and seal nylon or polypropylene (PP) cable, rope, webbing, belting, ribbon, and more with the BISupply | Hot Knife for Plastic and Nylon. The base includes 4 pre-drilled holes for permanent mounting in your garage, craft room, house, or storage shed. To set up, unscrew the knife holder with the included T-bar hex key, place the blade in the knife holder, tighten screws while making sure that the blade and knife holder have full contact, then connect to the correct power supply to avoid short circuiting. To use, turn the power switch to the “on” position, place your material to be cut on the blade, and turn the power switch to “off” after cutting. Wait for the blade to cool before handling. Depending on application, operate in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes.
