JB Weld Ultimate Black Electrical Gasket and Sealant is a (room temperature vulcanized) RTV silicone gasketing material designed for use in assemblies where maximum oil and oil mechanical strength is required. Upon hardening, which occurs when the product is exposed to moisture in the air, the silicone forms a tough, waterproof seal on most joints and surfaces. It will not shrink or crack, resists oil and petroleum products, resists weathering, is safe, has good intermittent temperature resistance up to 500 degrees F and is ideal for many automotive applications.
