- IMPROVES DRY ITCHY EYES AND HELPS MAINTAIN NORMAL VISION– Research has shown the benefits of omega 3 fish oil (EPA and DHA) in eye health, but only in high doses. High doses of DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. Omega-3 essential fatty acids can improve and relieve symptoms of dry eye syndrome such as itching or burning eyes, gritty sensation, and blurry vision. This is thought to be due to improvement in tear film production and stability.
