TotalBoat Teak Cleaner is a complete teak cleaning solution for your boat's teak - use it on teak decks, handrails, toe rails and trim exposed to the sun and other harsh elements. This marine-grade teak brightener and cleaner also does an excellent job restoring your dull gray outdoor teak wood furniture and bringing out the beauty of the wood grain. It’s ideal for teak patio tables and chairs, Adirondack chairs, benches, outdoor teak shower seats, and more.
Why does teak turn dull and gray in the first place? When teak is exposed to the elements without a finish, or has been oiled or stained, the surface turns a dingy gray over time. This two-part system thoroughly cleans teak wood, removing dirt, fish blood, fuel and other stains, salt, growth, teak oil, and undoes general neglect without tedious sanding. Part A removes sealers, graying, and weathering. Part B neutralizes Part A and brightens the wood, preparing it for oiling or sealing. Do not leave Part A on caulking or seams longer than 5 minutes without applying Part B to neutralize. Then simply let the wood dry for a day or two after you rinse off Part B with fresh water, and the teak is ready for teak sealer, teak oil or varnish.
