Babar et le ère Noël

In the kingdom of the elephants, Santa Claus does not exist. Babar’s three children Pom, Flora and Alexander, write a letter to Santa Claus asking him to visit. Every morning they await the arrival of the postman, but there is no answer from Santa. Troubled by his children’s sadness, Babar sets out in search of Santa Claus. This staple of children’s literature is narrated and sung (in French only) by soprano Natalie Dessay and set to the music of Bizet, Brahms, Debussy, Grieg, Poulenc, Ravel, Satie and Saint-Saëns, performed here by pianist Shani Diluka.
Zéphir, Arthur, Pom, Flore et Alexandre écrivent une lettre au Père Noël pour lui demander de leur rendre visite, car au royaume des éléphants, le Père Noël n’existe pas. Alors chaque matin, nos cinq compères guettent l’arrivée du facteur, mais hélas, il n’y a aucune réponse. Navré de voir ses enfants si tristes, Babar décide alors de partir à la recherche du Père Noël pour le ramener dans son royaume. Un incontournable de la littérature pour enfants revisité par Natalie Dessay la narratrice et mis en musique par la pianiste Shani Diluka, avec Bizet, Brahms, Debussy, Grieg, Poulenc, Ravel, Satie, Saint-Saëns...
