- All fillets are smoked with alder wood chips, vacuum sealed in the retort pouch, then cooked in the pouch in a large pressure cooker. This makes it completely shelf-stable (just like a can or a jar) for up to 18 months, or until after it is opened. The fluids seen in the picture of the pouch are all natural fish oils.

- Wild-caught salmon has significantly lower mercury levels and higher omega 3:6 ratios than farmed salmon, and it is free from the man-made additives in farm feed: dioxins, PCBs, fire retardants, pesticides, antibiotics, copper sulfate, and canthaxanthin.
