- The X8 Flamenco Cajon design pays homage to the very first box drums that were simply shipping crates that were played by laborers during down time
- The Cajon resonance box is made from premium selected exotic Asian oak with crate bars along the sides. Playing surface: Asian Sungkai Wood, also known as "Indonesian oak" because its beautiful grain.
- This drum is fitted with specially designed guitar strings that run vertically against the inside faceplate that provide plenty of crackle and compliments the warm lower end sound of the oak box
- The front playing surface is a natural lighter wood finish while the sides and back are treated with a semi-dark aged finish for a unique two-tone effect.
