- Product is cloudly then Please turn your lamp on and allow it to heat up until the base is warm or hot to the touch, the wax has softened and is flowing as it should. Once the lamp reaches this point then please turn the lamp off and allow it to cool completely, to where it doesn’t feel as if it’s been on, and then turn the lamp on again. You will want to do this several more times. It can take a bit longer with the larger lamps. However, by running the lamp in short bursts when you heat the wax up and then allow it to cool, it’s that cooling action that acts like Velcro pulling the tiny particles of wax together.
