Product Information
- History: It takes about 2,000 carefully hand-picked blossoms to produce 1 gram of Jasmine Absolute. Flowers are picked in the early hours of dawn as they are unfolding, and attention has to be paid not to bruise or mishandle the flowers, since that would compromise the aroma. Jasmine is called the King of Flowers (Rose being the Queen), and indeed this is probably the most masculine of all the floral aromas, especially the Jasmine Sambac, which is more musky and spicy than the Jasmine Absolute.
- Aroma:Floral, rich, sweet and warm, exquisitely exotic. Jasmine grandiflorum is softer, more gentle and floral than Jasmine Sambac, which is more mysterious and exotic.
- Perfumery Note:Middle/Base. Blends well with: Most oils. Very suitable to make an aroma more round and complete. To create a romantic mood, try blending it with the other great aphrodisiacs - Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Rosewood, Patchouli, Vetiver, Rose etc. Also nice: Bergamot, Orange, Mandarin & Neroli. Lavender and Geranium, Frankincense and Clary Sage.
- Aromatherapy Properties:Relaxing, intoxicating, warming. Great aphrodisiac. Jasmine has a long tradition of being used in childbirth as a relaxing and supportive remedy. Jasmine is valued in skincare in aiding dry, sensitive and irritated skin.
- This product has been blended with Jojoba oil to provide a more economic and less concentrated version of the 100% pure Essential oil. Don't use in applications where the Jojoba oil left behind may cause problems (fan operated diffusers, nebulizers, sprays etc.). In contrast to pure Essential Oils, Jojoba oil will leave an oily residue. If using an oil blended with Jojoba, increase the number of drops you add to your bodycare or bath according to your liking.
