Product Information
- History:Petitgrain is extracted from the leaves and little twigs of the Bitter Orange tree. Previously, it was distilled from the small green fruit, hence the name petitgrain – “little grains”. It is an important ingredient of Eau de Cologne.
- Aroma:Citrus, yet floral. Very energetic and fresh. Quite green, with resemblance both of Neroli and citrus peel. However, it is not as fine and floral as Neroli, which is extracted from the flowers of the same tree.
- Perfumery Note:Top. Blends well with: Most oils. Petitgrain can be used to support the Neroli. Citrus oils, Lavender and Geranium, Frankincense, Chamomile and Clary Sage. Rose, Vetiver, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang. Cedarwood and Clary Sage.
- Aromatherapy Properties:Uplifting, and easing the mind, restoring ones energy.
