When discussing eBay package shipping time, the first thing to remember is that eBay itself has little to do with the actual shipping of the products: the package is delivered directly from the seller to the buyer. eBay package shipping time depends upon several factors, such as country of origin, shipping schedule of the carrier, customs, etc. If the product is being shipped from China or Hong Kong, for example, it could take a long while. At the end of the day, if you have not received the package in the allotted time frame, you can fill in a non-delivery claim with eBay. For some sellers, it is a full-time venture and they can ship ASAP (although that doesn't always guarantee fast delivery), while other sellers have additional work and cannot ship instantly. Buying on weekends or holidays can add to the delay, as most postal services are closed on those days.  In some cases, for an additional fee, sellers can offer expedited shipping that can arrive earlier than standard shipping.
