Firstly, it’s important to note that this question is valid for both buyers and sellers. I’m sure you’re asking from a seller point of view, but to cover all bases let’s briefly touch on what to do as a buyer. If you’ve purchased something and the Amazon return window has closed, submit a return request anyway. Amazon can allow you to return products past 30 days from receipt of shipment, but this is handled on a case by case basis. As a seller, you don’t have to do anything. If your buyer wants to return an Amazon item past 30 days, Amazon could accept the return and debit your account for the amount of the sale. However, you will be reimbursed for the replacement value of the item. You will not be reimbursed, however, if the item is defective, part of a recall or violates Amazon’s policies in any way. In a case where you are not reimbursed, and you feel you should be reimbursed, it would be best to get in touch with Amazon seller support and let them help you with the case. I hope this answers your question, [name]. Please remember, if there’s anything else just ask - we’re here to help.
