Once you've decided that you want to implement EDI into your eBay business, there are a few general steps to follow for setting up the integration process:

  1. Purchase an appropriate EDI software for your eBay business. We recommend making sure it includes both document maps and a translator. 
  2. Once the software is set up, eBay typically begins testing document exchanges. 
  3. Conduct a further set of tests with your EDI software provider to verify that it operates correctly and that eBay and all your other trading partners receive the documents correctly.
