On eBay, a seller may choose to sell their product through auctions or "Buy It Now". With "Buy It Now", listing works similar to any other online marketplace. If the seller chooses to auction, bidding can be set up with certain parameters.
You can choose to have bidding for between 1 and 10 days. At the end of the time period, you sell your product to the highest bidder. Additionally, you can choose to list a “Buy It Now” price alongside the bidding option, which will be shown until the first bid is placed.
