Unintelligently Designed Arms Races: How Nature Refutes Intelligent Design (Unintelligent Design)

Evolutionary arms races are the basis for co-evolutionary cooperation and ecosystems and are fundamental to biology and biodiversity, yet they cannot logically be described as intelligently designed because competing against yourself in an arms race is not an act of intelligence nor of design. Arms races account for the needless complexity and prolific waste seen in nature when you look beneath the superficial resemblamce of design and are responsible for the major advances in evolution, from the evolution of eukaryote cells, the evolution of multicellularity, the evolution of coral reefs, forests and flowering plants, parasite/host and predator/prey relationships and the vertebrate immune system, to name just a few of the results and legacies of arms races.
