- Flowers - Double Fiesta Marigold is a French variety that produces 1.5 to 2 inch blooms. Each flower has ruffled, tightly packed petals in a red-orange coloring.
- Growth - Double Fieta will grow to a height of roughly 12 inches tall, and can spread 6 to 10 inches wide. The plants are considered annuals, which means they will grow quickly from seed, bloom profusely through the Summer, and later wilt with frost.
- Butterfly Garden - The large colorful blooms of the Double Fiesta Marigold will attract all sorts of butterflies to the garden, as well as other beneficial insects and pollinators. These will include various bumblebees and honeybees, ladybugs, hummingbirds and more.
- When to Sow - Marigolds are one of the easiest to start from seed, and one of the most popular flowers for home gardeners. They can be started indoors, 6 to 8 weeks prior to the last frost, or you can sow right in the garden when the weather is warm and all danger of frost passes.
- Quality - All Marigold seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture.
