Alfa-who-whats? Alfajores! Fall in love with classic shortbread cookies done the Argentinian way! Wooden Table Baking Company took grandma's recipe book from Buenos Aires to Oakland, CA to create a new version of the traditional dulce de leche filled treat. By experimenting with other regional flavors we made fun new options beyond the classic coconut! We kept the natural ingredients, real milk, and fresh butter, and said "No, Gracias!" to GMOs, preservatives, and artificial flavors. What we ended up with was a light and crisp cornstarch shortbread covered with rich and smooth chocolate, and flavored with the fun fusion of Lavender. These cookies are perfect for dipping in hot coffee, topping a bowl of vanilla ice cream, or sharing - if you can bear to part with them! If you do not eat all of these in one sitting, you can refrigerate to keep cool and fresh. Our products are best if consumed immediately as they do not include preservatives, however you can freeze them and enjoy them up to six months later. Our Alfajores put all others to the test! And from our table to yours, we recommend at least one sweet treat a day to achieve maximum happiness!
