Q1: Is this itchy on the underside next to the skin or does it have a lining to protect your skin from the rough tulle?
Not itchy at all. The petticoat skirt has a soft lining, almost like a slip kind of material inside. Incredibly comfortable for a long wear
Q2: Is the waistband stretchy?
Yes very stretchy,and very true to size.
Q3: What is the length? I'm afraid the crinoline petticoat will show at the bottom of my dress.
The hoopless petticoat is approximately 25" from the top. You can just role the brand top to adjust the length by 4-6 inches. But I always prefer to have a tiny bit showing and pulled my underskirt lower because I WANTED it to show. This is very classy retro look. I love that you can give a dress more style and color.
Q4: Is this petticoat good for a swing dancing?
Yes. This tulle petticoat will fluff out your skirt nicely and also will move, bounce and dance well, just the right amount of poof for your vintage dress.
Q5: What are the care instructions. Can it be washed?
All I do is wash it on the gentle cycle then air dry it to keep it's shape. I place my other petticoats in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes and never had a problem with them. I get so many compliments when wearing them under a retro style dress.
