- HIGH PERFORMANCE: Our 1 1/2" x 30" aluminum oxide resin-bonded cloth belt features a grit size of 80, great for tough jobs, and blending and welding metals. Built to handle the most strenuous metalworking applications, the fast cutting grain easily handles high-grade materials, such as stainless steels, carbon steels, and aluminum.
- LONG LASTING MATERIALS: The block-like characteristics of Aluminum Oxide grain create longevity and are optimal for blending metals. This product has self-sharpening capabilities which results in an extremely high stock removal rate thanks to constant recreation of sharp grain points. More suited for grinding Carbon Steels, VSM Aluminum Oxide belts can also grind Non-Ferrous metals (like Aluminum or Brass) and Stainless steels, as well as wet materials due to its water-resistance.
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL: This product is coated onto a durable tear-resistant and flexible cloth backing and adhered with a specifically engineered resin system that is coated for hand-held application. The VSM Aluminum Oxide belt is suitable for smoothing weld seams, deburring metal, and grinding out flaws in your work all while being antistatic and joint-changeable, which helps reduce operator fatigue and increase operator productivity.
- SAFE AND EFFECTIVE: Our pack of 10 belts is top-size which helps reduce the heat while grinding, thereby maximizing the life cycle of the ceramic grain before heat discoloration of the metal. This belt is stearate rated which prevents chip adhesion to avoid clogging up the abrasive, so you can count on your belts to handle extreme loads and offer maximum user protection while being easily interchangeable.
