Amazon fees are the fees associated with selling a product on Amazon. Amazon has two main types of fees: fulfillment and variable.
1. Fulfillment: This fee is based on the size and weight of items that are sold. It includes picking and packing your orders, shipping and handling, customer service, and product returns. Here is the fee structure:
2. Monthly Storage Fee: The monthly cost of storing your products in Amazon’s warehouse. It is based on how much room a product takes up in the warehouse.
3. Referral Fees: Sellers pay a referral fee for each product sold to Amazon and it is a percentage of the total item price.
There are two seller-specific fees on Amazon: individual and seller. Professional sellers pay 39.99 USD per month along with referral and variable closing fees. Individual sellers pay referral and variable closing fees as well as an additional 1 USD per item sold. Amazon suggests you become a professional seller if you are selling more than 40 items per month.
